VIDEO: Enterprise Tips: Practice Tasks

Practice tasks allow you the ability to assign one off or recurring tasks not related to a specific patient but rather the practice. They can then be completed by a member of the team to add accountability to the task.

To add a practice task click the dashboard button

Access your actions and tasks

Here the top section is devoted to practice tasks and the bottom is patient actions.

To add a practice task click “add practice task” enter the relevant notes for the task

Select whether this is a one of task or recurring,

If recurring set the intervals for the instances of this task.

And set the due date for this task to appear.

You can assign who the action is for, or if for any user of the system leave as N/A.

If you wish to add specific notes that relate to this specific occurrence of the task you can add them in this box. This is mainly for when completing the task if you wish to comment anything about it.

Once you’re happy with your selection, press ok.

Once a practice task is added, it will appear in your practice tasks list. You can view the task's details, including the date, description, frequency, assigned notes, and any completion status.

To complete a task click the tick box or to add notes click the icon next to this.

You then have filters at the top indicating whether you wish to view your own individual tasks or the branches, this is where tasks assigned to N/A will populate and you will be able to see what everyone else has assigned to them.

Practice tasks can be used in a variety of ways to enhance efficiency and organization. Here are some examples:

Daily Checklists: Create daily tasks to ensure important routine activities are completed, such as opening and closing procedures, stock checks, and cleanliness inspections. Check orders 1 day

Reminders: Set reminders for important events or deadlines, such as staff meetings, training sessions, or submitting reports. Staff Training 1 week
