The i-Clarity Document Centre is a new form within i-Clarity that provides a new interface to viewing patient documents stored and saved against the patient record.
This means the patient document folder will rarely need to be directly opened.
The patients document centre can be opened from the patient menu, Top bar document count and dynamic bar document count. It can also be launched by pressing the F9 key on the keyboard.
Opening the document centre from the patient record or all non-clinical modules will display a list of all the patients saved/stored documents.
Opening the document centre from a clinical record/ CL clinical record or a supplementary record will open the document centre and by default display documents that are linked to that clinical record; to view all clinical documents you can change the view to ‘Prescription documents’ or to view all documents.
Feature: Linking Documents to clinical records
Documents created from send/create documents on a saved clinical record will automatically link to that clinical record.
To link a stored or existing document to a clinical record, with the document centre opened from that clinical record, change the view to prescription or show all docs, locate the document in the list, click the link icon.
n.b. Click on the link icon with the red cross to unlink
Feature: Drag and Drop
You can drag a document into the middle of the document centre, this will then launch the save window
Feature: Paste and Create
If you want to store a basic image, data or graph from another program running on your machine against the clinical record you can now paste a screen shot or screen grab into the document centre. If you have opened the document centre from the clinical record the ‘paste and create’ feature will link the image to that clinical record.
After taking a print screen or screen grab, click the ‘Paste and Create’ button.
