Changes:

  1. Appointment Diary
The reset filter button will now reset to today if the previously selected staff member has no future clinics.

  2. Report Buttons
Tidying the text on some of the report buttons to stop the descriptions overlapping the bounds of the menu buttons.
  3. Report Dates
The default 'to' and 'from' dates are now set today rather than the 'from' date been set to last month.
    * Apart from a few where we specifically change the dates to a month or a year by default.
  4. Clinical record tag highlighting
When answers were added to a clinical record using the multi answer (right clicking on a tag) the answers were highlighted so when you started typing the may over type the answers you selected. Now the answers are not highlighted, and a space is added after the last answer where the cursor will default to so you can start typing straight away. Reason: Less potential of overtyping text and quicker to continue with your record after selecting the answers.
  5. Clinical Record Key Board Short Cuts.
Remove the functionality of the shift and left or right cursor keys that used to delete a character. Now holding shift and pressing the right or left cursor key allows you to select the text. Reason: Functionality now is consistent with most other windows applications.
  6. Enhanced EGOS Validation.
Validates for blank surname and/or forename. Validates for sale amounts over £1000 that the PCSE will not be able to electronically process and amends the sale price to the voucher value.

  7. Canada / America prescription notations.
All forms where an axis is entered (exams, Dispense, Orders etc)

Now padded to 3 charecters i.e. 008, 076. Added the M format to near vision and near VA on the right click and up/down arrow scroll now list 8.0M,6.3M,5.0M,4.0M, 3.2M etc

  8. Appointment booking form
Changed the text on the close button to say 'Close Don't Save' rather than 'Cancel Don't Save' and changed the icon to a close icon rather than a cancel icon.

  9. Patient actions, Form layout change.
Slight change to the position of the two check boxes ('No Date' and 'Set Reminder') and the 'Action For' dropdown. Also removed the hover text from the check boxes. Reason: To avoid the 'No date' box been selected by mistake because the hover text for the 'Set Reminder' box was over the 'No Date' box)

  10. Actions Form
Removed the change the defaults to the form that occurred when either box was ticked. Now only ticking the 'No Date' box defaults the 'Show Reminder' box to true
