With payment sense integration, amounts entered onto i-Clarity to be paid for by card are automatically transferred to the PDQ machine. Therefore, there is no need to enter an amount twice e.g. once onto i-Clarity and once onto the card machine.

On the ‘Enter Payment’ Screen, select a card payment method.

Use the number buttons to enter the amount the patient is paying and then click 'Confirm Amount'.

No need to use the number buttons if the amount next to the ‘Confirm Amount’ button is already correct.

Click ‘Confirm Total’.

Because you have selected a card payment method and are using Payment Sense Integration, then i-Clarity will automatically communicate with the card machine so there is no need to manually enter the payment amount.

The Payment Sense app will then appear and prompt you through the card machine stages.

Please present card, please enter pin etc.

i-Clarity will then advise you of the payment outcome and confirm the if the transaction was successful.

Manual PDQ Mode

On the enter banking page there is a button called ‘Manual PDQ’.

Clicking on this button will temporarily disable the link from your computer to the PDQ machine. This allows you to put through PDQ payments (plus or minus) through i-Clarity without activating the card machine. This is useful if you need to make any till corrections or amendments.
