Part 1: Optom Signature

After completing the GOS1, click on the 'GOS3' tab at the top of the form.

New claims will have a green background. If the patient has an old claim displayed click on the 'New' button at the top of the page.

The patient’s name, DOB, and address will have automatically been populated, along with the patient’s prescription and the optometrist details.

Complete the voucher type information.

(Enter the distance and multi voucher types in the DV voucher type field. Enter near voucher types in the NV voucher field).

Double click on the 'Optom signature date'.

This will enter today’s date and open the signature box.

Sign in the box and click the 'Save' button under the signature box.

Exit the patient claims form.

Part 2: Issuing a GOS3 Voucher for a patient to take elsewhere

Double check all the details have been completed. If the patient would like to take the GOS3 voucher elsewhere click the ‘Issue’ button.

A confirmation message will pop up.

Once the voucher has been issued a confirmation message will also appear providing you with the Voucher code and Authorisation code associated to this issued voucher. Please take a note of Voucher code and Authorisation code as they will be needed on PCSE website.

Please note, the claim will be locked from further editing and an automatic activity note will be added to the patient record.

If there is an error the following message will appear, preventing a voucher and authorisation code being issued.  Please do look at the validation error and correct the claim.

Part 3: Printing the GOS3 Voucher from PCSE Online for the patient

Log on to PCSE Online.

Click on the 'Ophthalmic' option.

Click 'Search for a Claim'.

Click 'Search for a GOS3 Voucher'.

In the Optical vouchers – Retrieval search, enter the voucher code and authorisation code. Click 'Search'.

The patient's issued voucher will display. Click 'Open GOS3 Voucher'.

This will open the claim on the patient details page.

Scroll down and click 'Save and Next'.

This will open the prescription page.

Scroll down and click 'Print GOS3 Voucher'

This will create a printable form that can be given to the patient to take elsewhere.
