Using the i-Clarity recall module phone lists

To access the area of the system where recall communications can be sent, click on the yellow arrow on the right-hand side of the module icons at the bottom of the page.

This will display a new set of icons.

Click on the printer icon called ‘Recall’.

Recalls that are due to be sent will be listed in the grey box on the left-hand side of the screen. When you first open this screen, the box will be empty.

To control what recall communications are displayed in this grey box firstly change the ‘Up To’ date in the list box on the right-hand side of the screen.

The up to date corresponds the communication send date in the patients communications tab.

Once you have opened the recall module….

1. Check and if applicable amend the ‘Up To’ Date.

2. Click Generate Communications.

3. Tick the box next to the communication type you would like to deal with.

4. Click the button 'View Receipients For Selected Communication'.

5. On the new form click on the printer icon to print this phone list.

6. Close out of the recall module.

Use the patient id numbers on the report to open the patient records.

Call the patient to advise they are due an appointment.

If the patient would like to be seen, then book the patient an appointment

Patients with booked appointments are removed from the recall list.

If the patient would not like to be seen for an appointment, click on the 'Patient Communications' tab.

Amend the send date of the communication to a date the patient would like to be rereminded.

Amend the stage date to the next number in the sequence. E.g. if it says 1 amend to 2.

Save these changes.

Because this new send date is now in the future compared to your ‘up to’ date in the recall module this patient will be removed from the list in the recall module.

Click on the 'Patient Activity' tab.

Type a note to say the patient does not want to attend the practice for an appointment now so recall send date adjusted.

Repeat this process for every patient on the printout.  Then return to the recall module to generate a new list for a different communication type.
