Refund a Sale in Full.
- This method of creating a refund is used if a patient returns a product and is owed a full refund.
- Tick the box next to the sale that needs refunding.
- Click on Refund Selected Sale
- This will open a confirmation window, which also give you the option of returning the product(s) to stock. Click Yes to proceed
- A refund for the selected sale will be entered onto the system and the Enter Payments screen will be displayed.
- On the Enter payments screen, select the method which is being used to return the payment to the patient.
- The amount to be refunded will be shown as a minus figure. Click the Confirm Amount button.
- Once the payment information is visable in the bottom box, click Confirm Total.
- Enter a reason for the refund. Click OK.
- Details of the refund now appear in the sales transaction summary on the left hand side.
Refund Part of a Sale
- This method is used if a patient is owed a refund for part of a sale
- Click the Create Refund button.
- This will open the Create Refund screen. It is similar to the Create Sale screen which you'll be used to seeing, but all items are automatically proceeded with a minus.
- Using the same method as when creating a sale, select the product(s) that need to be refunded.
- The selected product will appear on the right hand side of the screen
- You can amend the price using the number buttons.
- Click Add to Refund. This will add the product line to the refund. You can add more than one product to the refund if necessary.
- Once completed, click the Confirm Refund button.
- The Enter Payments screen will be displayed.
- On the Enter payments screen, select the method which is being used to return the payment to the patient.
- The amount to be refunded will be shown as a minus figure. Click the Confirm Amount button.
- Once the payment information is visable in the bottom box, click Confirm Total.
- Enter a reason for the refund. Click OK.
- Details of the refund now appear in the sales transaction summary on the left hand side.
