CHANGES WORTH NOTING!
1. Predictive Statement FunctionThe predictive statement function was too sensitive to single characters or short words. Therefore the Tab button has replaced the enter button for selecting the first result in the predictive statement list.
For example if you wanted to type ‘No’ and enter, previously this would have found predictive statement results and on pressing enter would have entered the first result in the list. Now, typing No and then pressing enter will result in a typed No followed by the return character.
Features of predictive statements:
• Pressing Tab will populate your text box with any of the selected results including the top result.
• Pressing enter if the first result in predictive statement is selected will not populate the text box with the statement but will enter a return character.
• Pressing up and down arrows will scroll though the list without moving the cursor, either tab or enter can be used to select a predictive statement result once the highlight has moved off the first result.
• Pressing enter will select an item if you have scrolled down though the list.
2. Dispense Module; The specs type box has been moved to the top bar and a new lens type box has been added to filter the lens choice list.
The addition of a lens type filter box means that you can filter for a different lens without changing the overarching specs type of the dispense.
Why is this useful: Its useful when you want to dispense varifocals with a balance lens in the 2nd eye. Why is it important: Its important because specs type controls how the order prints e.g. The add prints out on order with a Specs type of Varifocal but not on an order with a specs type of distance.
Features of the Spec Type and Lens Type box:
Selecting a spec type will auto populate the lens type filter.
• There is a new option in the lens type filter, 'All Lenses' to allow the selection across all lens types.
• If a user selects a lens type it will only update the specs type box if it is empty or it contains distance, readers or inter readers.
• i.e. if you select a distance lens type and then select a varifocal for the other eye then the spec type will be change to varifocal. but if the first eye is a varifocal then the spec type will not change automatically.
• The spec type can still be changed manually before saving or confirming.
ENHANCEMENTS
1. Dispense Module; Changes to the Dispense Lens Selection Display:-
- Lens column bigger.
- Supplier Range moved from description (Benefits) column to the lens column.
- Colours and sizes (now Options) moved to next to the lens.
- Details (now Benefits) slightly greyed to give importance to the lens details.
- Benefits highlighted if selected
- Alternate row highlighting for improved clarity of list of lenses.
2. Dispense and Ordering Module; When right clicking on the heights there is now an option 0.5mm+
Where: Available in the dispensing and ordering module
Why: Required for Above HCL heights
3. Dispense and Ordering Module; New 'Technical' field for Sensitivity Contrast
- This is required for some new Nikons lenses.
- Field enhanced to allow for negative sensitivity figures.
- Right click menu on field enhanced to show figures from – 7 to 7
4. Ordering Module; Order print-out enhanced so that 'On HCL' prints on the Spec order if 0 entered into the heights.
5. Dispense; When Selection the right height direction with keyboard arrows, it only auto populated the left direction on the menu first selection.
System enhanced so it now changes the left direction every time you select a right direction.
n.b. Changing the left does not change the right direction so different directions can still be selected.
6. Dispense Module; Ability to go from the dispense to the order that was created from the dispense.
without going through the orders menu
New option on the ‘Close & Go’ Menu ‘Close & Go to This Order’
7. Dispense Module; Changed the 'Update Rx' button to 'Change Rx'
When you click on it will list all the patients prescriptions so you can dispense from any RX.
Why: To allow for previous prescriptions to be dispensed.
n.b. The Star against a prescription denoted that it’s the latest RX.
8. Dispense Module; The choose frame screen now uses the supplier name instead of the supplier code.
Why: The supplier code may not provide enough clarity on the supplier.
9. Dispense Module; Frame stock levels can now be added via the frame search in the dispense module.
Once selecting an existing frame/sun specs, click the ‘Add to Stock’ button to increase the stock levels before dispensing.
10. Dispense Module; New frames and sunspecs can now be added directly from the dispense or orders module.
The choose frame/sunspec form in dispense has been enhanced to contain the ‘Create Frame’ button and form so that new products can be added to the system before dispensing.
This form also allows for you to add additional sizes and colours to a frame module that is already on the system.
11. Dispense Module; The choose frame search has been enhanced so the it auto filters results.
This removes the need for you to type a search criteria, and then press search to display results. Results of the search will be immediately available and become more refined as you continue to add to the search criteria.
Frame search now also auto selects the first frame in the lists so you can see the sizes and colours without clicking.
Pressing enter when typing a search will select the first frame in the list of filtered description and the first colour and size for that frame. If it gets a match it will close the form and select that frame.
12. Dispense Module; Workshop field searching.
Clicking on workshop now opens the menu and allows multiple letter searching (previously it was just the first letter)

• Your picture can be a head shot (passport photo) or an avatar
• Reason: easily see who is currently logged in to i-Clarity
14. Claims Module; GOS1, 3 and 4 claims can now be submitted without a signature if a reason for no signature is selected e.g. uncollected specs.
FIXES
- Closing the clinical menu while multiple clinics are still open and minimised didn't detect changes on the second record that was opened and so didn't give you option to save.
- Tab order on the dispensing screen was not in the logical order.
- Spelling mistake on the auto tags when starting a new Clinical record <> changed to <>
- On a patient record on the Visit History form in the field Status Notes, if an appointment cancelled by the patient there is a spelling mistake in 'cutomer not customer'
- Could not save the predictive statements for Dispense Notes, Lens Notes and Ordering Notes
- Can now type in the voucher code and authorisation code fields on an unsaved GOS3 voucher
- Change to the total DD balance calculation
