If you are experiencing issues with a Payment Sense PDQ Terminal (NOT DOJO), the below troubleshooting guide may help to resolve the issue.
Run a test transaction through the training branch after each change.
1. Check API and URL and TID are present in i-Clarity.
· Go to maintenance and devices.
2. Run a TMS Call
· MENU X2 > F3 SUPERVISOR > ENTER PASSWORD 123456 OR 01483 > MENU > CALL TMS (Probably F4)
3. Check Terminal ID number in i-Clarity is correct
· The Terminal ID number is written at the top of the TMS call print out. Starting TID:
4. Check the PDQ is in till mode
- Press F4
- Password (123456, 01483 or their own password)
- F1 for OFF
- Press the Red to reboot the terminal in standalone mode
5. Soft reboot of the machine
· Hold down the clear button and the punctuation button (below the 9 key) at the same time for 3-5 seconds, until the terminal turns off.
· Once off, hold the enter button until the terminal powers on
