i-Clarity has been designed so that you can have two of any clinical record type open at the same time e.g. a previous and new Clinical Record and/or a previous and new CL Clinical Record and/or a previous and new supplementary (non-sight test) record open.

Therefore, if you have chosen to open a previous clinical record you can now open a new clinical record by:

1. Minimising the previous record you have open, so that the Exam Summary screen is visible again. Then selecting the new record icon.
2. Dragging the previous record you had open to a second screen.
3. Using the ‘Go Menu’ on the bottom bar of the clinical record to select ‘Create new record’. This will create a new record of the same type you have open.

If you are using a single screen, you can move between clinical records using the windows task bar, where you will be able to see all the windows that are open or if your screen or you can use the screen view menu to switch between the open records.
